Been wearing SK's for years but this is my first curveball cap. Impressed with the hat. I can see what other reviewers are saying with a keeper for the leather strap being a benefit but my head is big enough it's not as much of an issue for me. Cool cap that stands out from the rest. Look forward to years of wear.

Just purchased this hat in dark charcoal and wow I like the hat! Mine had the adjustable metal catch, thank the lord. I have a BIG head so I was worried that it would be too small but nope not an issue. What would make this 5 stars would be to use a thicker wool weight and then it would be flawless.

Great looking hat. Wore it one day, got compliments. But, Latch is weak at best, barely has to be touched to UN-clasp. There is no sewn slot to tuck end of adjusting strap into, like shown in picture. (had to cut end of strap so i didn't look like i had a antenna) and it came apart on inside where the clasp rivets to hat. It's comfortable , wish it wouldn't have come apart in one day. ~~Hi Tater, I am sorry to hear about the clasp on your cap. I bought my first one in 2019, for $40. It is a different Hat. Price is the same but the quality is not the same. The wool is thinner, the strap doesn't have a keeper anymore. SK obviously made a choice to keep the price the same, and something has to give with inflation. I would have liked them to raise the price instead of drop the quality. It's a good hat for $40, but not as good as it once was. But what is?
