Naming Plaids for Fall 2014

Well, Stormy Kromer fans, it’s time for another edition of naming plaids.  These posts always garner so many great responses and we love hearing your creative ideas.

So without further ado, let’s get right down to business.  As usual, we’re just showing the plaids but not revealing which products they will be used in.

You can see that these two are the same basic pattern, just in different colorways.  One with a light charcoal base, one with olive.

This one stands on its own.  Green background with pinks, purples and teals.

Well, what do you think?  Let the creativity begin!!

  1. Light charcoal base – Snowdrift
    Olive base – Spruceberry
    Green/pink/purple – Aurora

When I lived in Virginia, I can’t tell you how excited I would get seeing someone in some Kromer wear! I’d compliment them on it :)

One of these days, I will have my own <3

  2. Spiced Cider, Autumn Riverbank or Wilderness Road for the olive plaid.

Blue Adventurine for the charcoal and blue. Blue Adventurine is a stone – a powerful mental healer that increases vitality and a positive outlook. This stone assists in self-discipline and developing inner strength.

Rainbow Falls – UP waterfall – the pink, purple and teal

  3. 1. Lake Superior Whitecaps
    2. Backroads
    3. Aurora (as in Borealis. No better place to watch them than the shores of Lake Superior.)

  4. 1) Arctic Warmth – such a cool feel to this, but you know it’s going to be sooo warm!
    2) Cabin – reminds me of how our old cabin used to make me feel! Warm and cozy with touches of brightness and cheer!
    3) Maggie – My daughter! This describes her personality to a “T”!

Thanks for this! It was fun!

  5. 1) Winter Storm – In honor of the Legendary Stormy

    2) Iron Wood – Veins of iron ore and Northern Michigan Forests

    3) Lavender Blue, Diddle Diddle – Great colors for little Kromers
