Whether you're deep in right field or way out in the back forty, this brand-new, lightweight cap just might be the perfect headgear for spring and summer. Made of soft, brushed canvas, it's unlined for cooler wear and features a little more brim for a lot more shade.

DETAILS

- 8 oz. 100% brushed cotton canvas (solids) or polycotton twill (Realtree® AP).
- Unlined.
- Made in the USA with globally sourced materials.
- Hand wash or spot clean only.

HOW DO I CALCULATE MY CAP SIZE?

To get your size, measure comfortably around your head where your cap will sit, with a tape measure. Take that number in inches, divide by 3.14 (pi) and round up to the nearest eighth. This is your cap size. See the chart for size conversions.

My wife bought the field cap for my birthday. Love the longer bill to keep the sun off my face while fishing. Great hat! -Bry Bry

My first field cap. I own 9 wool SKs and one waxed cotten. Might get some strange looks wearing wool this summer. So I bought a moss colored field cap. The field cap fits comfortable just like the wool. Being in construction this cap will work great for me. THANKS SK. -spitchford

Packed or wore this beauty to the duck blind in California. Wool was nice in the cold morning, but the extra bill was an eye saver as temps and sun rose. If it rained (and it didn't do much of that this year) pulled out the wax camo. -Chuck

The field cap is great for warmer temps.I have an original which works well for the cold winter, but with the lighter field cap I can go Stormy Kromer year round. Life is good! -Stephen

I have been looking for a cap to keep my bald noggin warm for years. I got my Stromy 2 years and it the best cap I have worn and believe me I have tried them all being bald. I will never give it up. Thanks for keeping me warm. -Chrome dome

I found my cap in graphite while shopping on vacation in Northern MI. I also have an original cap in black. The cap is well made and the material is rugged but not too heavy. I appreciate that their caps are fitted as I'm no fan of all of those adjustable strap hats which always seem to come undone or tear. -Karl

I was psyched to see SK come out with a lighter weighted Kromer for summer temps. Worn it for about a week now and breaks in quite quickly compared to most hats I own. Very comfortable as well. Can't wait for summertime temps! -Loon

Saw the cap on the website and ordered one in the dark gray. Already own nearly a dozen, original, cord, rancher styles. Cord caps are too warm for Midwestern summers so tried the new style. Brim on this cap is much wider and longer than on the original. I didn't care for the lack of body in the shell. This cap has no inside lining, for coolness I'm sure. So I starched the cap and now it has the firmness I wanted. It will extend my wearing season to year around. -Loyal Customer

This is a great lid. I bought it with a couple of other Stormy Kromer caps for winter wear. It arrived today and the temps (it's early March) just took a warm turn and am I happy to have this to wear? It's light and comfortable. I like the way it fits and love the way it feels. Thanks gang for another made in Michigan top quality product. -g512ga

HOW TO USE EARFLAPS

You might not need instructions to wear your Stormy Kromer masterpiece, but there is a right way and a wrong way. The right way involves putting the cap on your head, grabbing the ear band on both sides and pulling down. There’s no unfolding or flipping, and you don’t have to take your cap off. Just pull down and settle in.
