Bernard “Bobo” Kolesar

Bernard Kolesar is a simple man.  All his life, he’s had two loves; a woman named Zella and his Stormy Kromer Cap.  Good thing for Bobo, as he’s called, Zella’s always been a fan of that Stormy Kromer Cap too.  Bobo made sure he was wearing that cap when he proposed to Zella, and he’s pretty sure that’s what sealed the deal.

Al Zierden

Al Zierden is the father of Dan Zierden, owner of one of our favorite Stormy Kromer dealers, Town & Country Cleaners of Shawano, Wisconsin.  Al made it known to his family that when the time came to say goodbye, he wanted his Stormy Kromer Cap on his head.  It only seemed right; since he had been wearing Stormy Kromers pretty much his whole life.

Floyd Leudtke

Floyd Leudtke is one of the most generous guys you’ll ever meet.  Whenever anyone, his five sons included, commented on his spiffy Stormy Kromer cap, he’d make sure they got one of their own.  Sometimes that meant ordering a dozen at a time, but that’s just the kind of guy Floyd is… gotta make sure everyone’s warm and comfortable.

101st Airborne

The boys of the 101st Airborne emailed us from their post in Iraq lamenting the fact that their heads were going sadly unprotected on the cold, windy helipads.  Well, cold and windy are the things we do best, so we sent ‘em all Stormy Kromer Caps.  The guys were sure appreciative and sent us some great photos.  Although you don’t usually think of Iraq as a cold place, as you can see, it gets pretty darn chilly.
