I’m very satisfied with Stormy products. Most hats are to size, I wear a 7 7/8 to 8 and XL is too tight and needs a hat stretcher for two weeks. These need to be sized too to meet your standards! ~~ Hi Bill, I am sorry to hear your hat doesn't fit as expected. Our XL size range is a 7 5/8 - 7 3/4 so I can understand why this cap may be a little snug fitting. At this time, we do not offer that cap is XXL. I have 2 other Stormy Kromer hats, both 7&5/8. Sizing chart recommended an XL. It was too big and I have returned it for a L.

Bought to be a golf hat. Perfect fit and finish. Stayed on my head in the breeze. Used chin strap for stronger wind, didn't even notice the strap. Would recommend to anyone looking for shade and cool head.

I had been looking at this hat for myself. My wife saw the hat online and asked me to order it for her, since I had a discount code. She chose the color and size that I would have ordered for myself. We are spending the month of August as volunteer park hosts on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. The hat provides great protection in this sunny coastal environment. The strap provides security from the wind when we kayak. Guess I need to order one for myself.

I looked at the mesh hiker hat online for a while before finally deciding to buy it. I was looking for a hat with a wider brim to protect me better from the sun, but had a heckuva time finding something that fit my needs. I didn't want a straw hat, and wasn't sold on the styling on some of the other style hats out there with big brassy vent holes, overly heavy canvas, etc. Out of the box, I was really happy with how it fit and the styling. I took the hat with me on a weeks-long vacation to the lake, and it worked perfectly. During some hot, sunny weather, my neck and ears avoided a sunburn and my head kept cool thanks to the mesh. Good airflow. Initially, I wasn't sold on the leather strap, but it actually came in handy several times when out in the boat, it kept my hat from flying off my head when speeding across the water. Great product - very happy with it and know it will be worth every penny for years to come.
