About a month ago, I picked up a black cord Kromer hat...my third in a year's time. Each hat purchased for different reasons. My first, a wool version for winter's cold. The second was a gift, waxed cotton for rain and snow and now the cord, for Fall's winds and chills. I can't overstate how terrific each of these are and how perfect the fit and craftmanship are. I picked up the black cord Kromer a few weeks ago at Copper World in Calumet. It's hardly left my head since. I hesitated for a long time before purchasing a Kromer because of the stereotypes that people have of Yoopers. This version is great for younger folks who are more likely to be mountain biking and relaxing at the KBC than fishing and drinking a Pabst. (Posted on 5/12/09)Overall
